Dreams Galore

A cool breeze at the sea shore,

Unveiled my dreams galore.

A dream which I regard as best chore,

Came pushing my mind's door.

“Standing on the cloud nine,

Letting my eyes brightly shine,

Making my cheeks a gold mine,

Receiving wishes for my success, in line.

Making plans to spend my first salary,

Giving my friends the best, from my known arts of culinary,

Drawing my mind from dream’s rotary,

And stop writing philosophical poetry.”

The limitations I drew,

And the ego that I grew,

Stopping my dreams from coming true,

And finally making my blue, brew.

Outwardly, I may look like a hard crust,

But, one day my heart will be a volcano burst,

Erupting not only the success thirst,

But also the inner surge to answer my parents trust.
